At Lowcountry FWB Church, we are a small, loving congregation committed to living out our faith through the guidance of God's Word. We firmly believe in the Holy Trinity: God the Father, Jesus Christ - the Son of God, and the Holy Spirit. Our foundation is built upon the Bible as the true and inspired Word of God, and we turn to it daily for wisdom, direction, and purpose in our lives.

Recognize Your Need for Salvation
Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Sin is disobedience to God and failure to meet His expectations.Understand the Consequence of Sin
Romans 6:23 tells us, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Because of sin, we deserve eternal death.God’s Love and Provision
Romans 5:8 says, “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Even in our sin, God made a way for us through Jesus Christ.Receive Salvation by Faith
Romans 10:9-10 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
“Lord, have mercy on me, a sinner. I confess my sins and ask for forgiveness. I believe Jesus died for me and receive Him as my Savior.”
What do we believe?
God:
We believe in one God, the Creator of heaven and earth. There is none as great or powerful as God, and all things are under His control.
Jesus Christ:
Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. He was crucified, buried, and rose again on the third day. Faith in His resurrection brings salvation to the soul. He is the second member of the Holy Trinity.
Holy Spirit:
The Holy Spirit is the third member of the Holy Trinity. He calls people to salvation, dwells within every believer, and is our guide and strength in life.
The Bible:
We believe the Bible was given by God through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and is inerrant — without fault or error.
Security of the Soul:
We believe that those who are saved must endure in their salvation until the end, as Jesus stated in Matthew 24:13. Hebrews 6:4-7 also makes it clear that a person can turn away from God.

Pastor J.R. Sutliff leads our congregation with a heart for service, faith, and community. With a strong commitment to teaching God’s Word and guiding others in their spiritual journeys, Pastor Sutliff fosters an environment of love and growth at Low Country FWB Church. His leadership is grounded in humility, prayer, and a passion for helping others experience the life-changing power of Christ.
